I love looking out at the night sky and on September 14, 2011 it paid off, once
again. I saw the most beautiful meteor on the southern horizon. It started out
as a normal, little meteor but then it got closer to the ground and grew
brighter and brighter, until I could see it through the clouds! It was insane.
It looked a lot like the first picture. I wish someone else had seen it. I
reported it on the American Meteor Society's website in the hopes there were
more sitings. And there were... LOTS!
